Leo V. Feeney, 91, of Greenfield, IN. passed away on January 31, 2013. He was born on August 16, 1921 to the late Timothy and Delia (Kenny) Feeney.
Leo married Barbara Hargrove on April 25, 1959. He was a graduate of Brownsburg High School and worked 18 years at Western Electric. Leo owned his own business from 1962 – 1994, was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Hargrove) Feeney, sons Ralph P. Feeney (Kristy) of Brownsburg, IN and Leo V. “Vincent� Feeney (Janet) of Greenfield, IN., sister Regina Scollard of Cincinnati, OH., 3 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
Leo is preceded in death by his brothers, Martin Feeney, Joe Feeney, Bill Feeney, Malichy Feeney and sister Rose Mary (Feeney) Kelly.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 523 S. Merrill Street, Fortville, IN 46040, with visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Leo’s name to the Hancock County Hospice or The Humane Society of Hancock County.
